Day 1: From Mollepata to Soraypampa – The Adventure Begins

Start your journey early as we pick you up from Cusco and drive to the trailhead in Mollepata (2,900m / 9,514ft). Here, we’ll begin our trek, passing through Andean villages, colorful flora, and vibrant local wildlife. The trek takes you through lush valleys, where the beauty of nature unfolds with every step. After a few hours, we’ll arrive at Soraypampa (3,850m / 12,631ft), the first camping site, where you’ll be greeted by spectacular views of Mount Salkantay (6,271m / 20,574ft). After settling into your camping tents, enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars and soak in the mountain’s beauty.
